Equipped with a powerful high-performance scanner and a high-resolution screen, the smartVIEWER basic operates using state-of- the-art technology. The clearly arranged screen display is particularly customer-friendly: price information, video clip and text display are visualised in a compact, parallel manner. Because of its very low energy consumption and small footprint the smartVIEWER basic can be placed anywhere. Besides its unique hardware advantages the smartVIEWER features simple operator guidance and the possibility of flexible integration into the customer network. Up to 32 smartVIEWER basic can be operated at the same time with one POS system (PC).
Once the customer has scanned an article the PC running in the background is being triggered via the network. The central database then transfers the price and any other additional information directly to the display of the smartVIEWER basic. Being independent of the checkout-system the smartVIEWER basic does not only offer advantages in cross-handling, but always guarantees a quick and reproducible retrieval of data wherever needed.
